Mengqi Du, PhD student in the EUV Generation and Imaging group
When looking for a PhD position related to optics or microscopy, I found the project Lensless imaging or computational imaging very interesting. The field of nanolithography is also intriguing to me. When I heard that ARCNL has a close collaboration with the semiconductor industry, I thought it is a good opportunity to get to know both the academic and industrial world.

My experiences line up with my expectations. I am exposed to research on various aspects of nanolithography. While trying to understand fundamental questions regarding the technology, I also get to know challenges in the industry.

At ARCNL we have enough space and freedom to do research, at the same time we are being well guided. Also, there is open and friendly communication among colleagues.
