Welcome Sebastiaan Heerooms to our team!

We are excited to share that Sebastiaan Heerooms has joined our team as a new technician! He is a Research Instrument Maker and Development Technician with extensive experience in precision engineering, product development, and manufacturing techniques. We are delighted to welcome him to our team.

Sebastiaan has had a diverse career, working in various roles and acquiring skills in CNC programming, CAD/CAM design, and creative engineering. At the AMC,  he developed medical devices such as a blood-circulation simulation setup, closely collaborating with medical professionals. At Leiden Cryogenics, he designed and manufactured high-precision parts for quantum cooling systems, working with scientists to enhance experimental tools.

Earlier, Sebastiaan worked on optical devices at Lahoux Optics and created custom jewelry at Metalart. His expertise extends to materials ranging from gold to 5N copper, and he is proficient in design software such as Solidworks and Onshape.
