Successful Meet-Up@ARCNL

On Wednesday May 11^th ARCNL organized its second Meet-Up@ARCNL event. The event proves to be a successful way to interact with students that are looking for an internship or PhD student position. The participating students came from universities in different parts of the Netherlands. They were eager to get to know the research center and enthusiastically participated in small teams to solve a challenging research case. Short presentations by Wim van der Zande (director of research at ASML) and ARCNL director Joost Frenken highlighted the unique character of the research center and the opportunity for students to do fundamental research with application potential. The next Meet-Up@ARCNL event will be organized next year.
