This 1st “Plasma Rolduc” conference, short for “NNV Plasma Physics Symposium Rolduc”, is part of a new conference series that revives and combines two series of 2-day annual plasma physics meeting in The Netherlands: the series in Lunteren (NNV Section meeting), and the one in Rolduc (WELT-PP). The one in Lunteren united all groups in The Netherlands that are active in plasma physics, including Fusion. The one in Rolduc concentrated on low-temperature plasma physics, but did include the nearby groups in Germany and Belgium. The Covid pandemia has disrupted both series of meetings but we are back with a strong, larger conference now at location Rolduc covering a broad range of plasma physics research done in group in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany (this is a non-exclusive list of course).
The conference is organized by the section Sectie Plasma- en Gasontladingsfysica (NNV-PG) of the Netherlands’ Physical Society (NNV).
Registration is live now!
The conference will take place April 2nd and 3rd, 2025.

The conference will be held in Rolduc, a medieval abbey located on the edge of the town of Kerkrade in the far south-east of the Netherlands. It is today a Roman Catholic seminary with an affiliated conference center. The abbey is a rijksmonument (Dutch national heritage site). Hotel rooms provided on-site as part of the registration.
The conference series is organized this year by the core committee comprising
A further scientific/advisory committee is set up and includes
The annual meeting is sponsored by ASML and the Netherlands’ Physical Society (NNV).
